Cultural Senses of Calgary 2026 - a success!

Our annual Cultural Senses of Calgary festival was an absolute blast. Each year, we celebrate Calgary’s vibrant and diverse communities through this celebration in a new neighbourhood across the city—giving all Calgarians the opportunity to discover and appreciate the richness of our multicultural heritage.

This year’s festival was hosted by @nadineniba, with an opening by Elder Cheryle Chagnon-Greyeyes. Throughout the day, guests explored a vibrant lineup of cultural educational booths and performances from groups including @cavwa.yyc, Mantra Arts @beenaashar, @axecapoeirayyc, @ghsa_uofc, @calgaryokinawan, and from various MPC Foundation members. There were also educational cultural booths from @pccaalberta, @calgaryucc, @ucfsa, @moonstonecree, @canadiancmf and others!

This annual festival is organized by MPC Foundation, and funded by @cityofcalgary and Government of Canada.
